Hello! We are Tyrell and Jessica. We both work on the Slope – Tyrell as an insulator/painter and Jessica as an admin for the Safety department. However, Jessica is eagerly looking forward to being a stay at home mom when a baby is placed in our home. We have been married for 2.5 years. During our marriage, we have struggled with infertility and miscarriage. Jessica has always felt drawn to adoption since she was a child, and so together we decided that we want to grow our family through adoption. Both of our families live in the Valley and are incredibly important to us. Tyrell is the 5th of 13 children. He also has 9 amazing nieces and nephews. Jessica is the oldest of 4 children and has 3 brothers. The close proximity of our families gives us a strong support system.

Our interests and hobbies vary by season. During the summer we are very outdoorsy. We love to hike, camp, kayak, grill, ride our machines, and explore our state as much as our schedule and the mosquitos will allow. We are usually accompanied by many of our siblings and nieces/nephews. Our dog, Rosie, is always by our side. During the fall Tyrell goes on a moose hunt with his buddies and Jessica spends the season picking wild berries and apples from an orchard. She makes jam, jellies, cranberry sauce, pies, and more. During the winter, we are homebodies mostly. We love to relax cuddled up on the couch watching a good movie with the dog. Jessica also uses this time to dive into hobbies such as quilting and scrapbooking.

As parents, we look forward to instilling strong morals and values into our children and teaching them important life skills. We will share the importance of our Christian faith and strong family ties. We will encourage such values as a strong work ethic, honesty, compassion, and kindness. We cannot wait to teach our children skills such as cooking, gardening, hunting, home/car maintenance, and sewing. But most of all, we cannot wait to include a little one in our adventures.
