Hello!

Thank you for the time to look at our profile – We are Robert & Kacy

We met 15 years ago on Myspace. Engaged after dating for about 2 years and will be celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary this fall. We were both born and raised in Anchorage. Kacy has been working for a communications company for just over 14 years, now a team manager working to support Alaska’s businesses big and small. Robert is also in management, working at a retail store for a local communications company over the last 4 years. He is one of the most well-respected bosses on the floor, always willing to push up his sleeves to help others get the job done and depended on greatly.  

We have two fur babies- both rescued as puppies and spoiled rotten (as it should be!) Mickey is 8 years old, weighs in at about 100lbs but will convince you he is a tiny lap dog any chance he gets. Jersey just turned 2yrs, on the slighter side at about 60lbs and officially in her terrible two era. Despite that, I’ve never seen a dog gentler with babies, she is really looking forward to all the cuddles. While we don’t have any children yet, we often get to spend time with friends and family that do, and really enjoy seeing them change and grow while being active participants in their lives whenever possible.

We love to travel, whether that be in our great state, or outside Alaska for adventure, especially if it involves geocaching, escape rooms or board games. We’ve been on 3 cruises so far but will always be planning another and cannot wait to make another trip back to Disney! We’re simple people who spend a lot of time together, at home working on the latest DIY project, playing board games, watching movies, and just enjoying each other’s company. Our house is warm and inviting, with plenty of drinks and snacks and lots of fun and love to go around. We don’t tolerate judgement, do our best to steer clear of drama and will always lend a helping hand when possible.

We look forward to this adoption journey, whatever that may be. We have a lot of love, compassion, wisdom, and strength to give a child should our family be chosen. Firm believers that everything happens for a reason and “what will be, will be” it is no accident we are here, and we take none of this lightly.
