Hey, we are Kayla and Rich! Kayla is originally from Westwego, Louisiana and Rich is from Southeast Texas. We met in high school and worked at the same restaurant together where we got to know each other and fell in love. We’ve been married 9 years and together over a decade. Currently we live in Juneau, AK in our first home. We plan to stay here as long as we can, but with Rich’s career in the Coast Guard we move around. We plan to eventually settle in Alaska once Rich retires. We make the best of our moves and enjoy exploring new areas. Rich and I have different hobbies. Rich enjoys Magic the Gathering, video games, and powerlifting. He competes competitively and we travel to different locations for those events. Kayla love's gardening, reading, and DIY projects. We like to spend time together by getting outside. We hike, fish, and take our big dogs on walks whenever the weather is good. We are so fortunate for this opportunity to adopt. This baby is so loved already by us and our family, and we don’t even know who he or she will be just yet. Our families are excited to visit and come along with us for this journey of parenthood. We plan to give this child the best life possible full of love, adventure, and opportunity.
