We first met when we were teenagers and quickly became close friends. Over the years, that friendship blossomed into love, and we’ve now been happily married for nearly 8 years. Our relationship is built on love, laughter, and deep connection and we are so excited to grow our family through adoption!

We were both born and raised in Alaska, and you can often find us outside. Whether we’re riding 4-wheelers, hiking, berry picking, road tripping, dip-netting, or simply spending time in our own backyard gardening and playing with the dogs, we love getting fresh air and enjoying the beauty that Alaska has to offer.

We live in a cozy home in a family-friendly neighborhood with plenty of room to run and play. Kimber’s parents live right up the street and we spend a lot of time together- watching football games, celebrating holidays, and sharing family dinners. Our home is filled with warmth, creativity, and a lot of love. Our dogs are a big part of our life, and we truly enjoy the companionship, joy, and routine they bring.

Kimber is warm, creative, and naturally nurturing. She has a way of making people feel welcomed and cared for- whether it’s through a homemade meal, a thoughtful conversation, or simply showing up. She is usually working on a project, whether it’s something crafty or something new and fun for the dogs. She keeps our life running with care and intention. Nathan is the kind of person everyone can count on, he is calm, steady, and always willing to lend a hand. Whether it’s fixing something around the house, helping a neighbor, or just listening, he shows up with a quiet strength and patience. He is someone who values hard work and enjoys finding practical solutions.

At the heart of our home are the values we live by: kindness, honesty, humor, and open communication. We support each other’s dreams and find joy in both the little every day moments and the big milestones. Whether we are enjoying a meal together, working on home projects, or just watching a movie on the couch, we genuinely love being together and building this life side by side.
