Hi! We live in the valley in Juneau, in a quiet neighborhood with lots of families.

We enjoy walking down to the park and seeing the Mendenhall glacier and the lake. We also enjoy biking and fishing and playing disc golf. During the winter we like to build puzzles and large scale legos. We like to learn and listen to audio books. We have fun events at our church such as family movie nights, cooking competitions, and game nights.

Dani has been a pastor for 9 years and loves serving the community. Jennifer works for the State of Alaska Education Department and finds fulfillment in that her job helps children all over the state of Alaska.

We enjoy traveling and take turns going to Hawaii to visit Dani's sister and going to Texas to visit Jennifer's family. Jennifer has 5 sisters and 3 brothers and several nieces and nephews that we have so much fun with. We love that our child will have many cousins and aunts and uncles to love them. We love exploring and seeing and experiencing new adventures together and can't wait to do that with a little one and experience everything with them for the first time. Dani's parents, aunt, uncle and a cousin live here in Juneau. We have regular family dinners together and they all attend our church. We have a big support system with family and our church community.

Dani is Indian, his parents immigrated from South India. He was born and raised in Juneau. Jennifer is a mix of many different ethnic groups, but the 3 major ones are German, Czech, and Irish. She was born and raised in Texas and moved to Alaska almost 6 years ago upon marrying Dani. We appreciate each other's cultures and traditions and how our differences have expanded our views and experiences. Jennifer was excited to include Dani's Southern Indian family traditions into the wedding ceremony. We definitely have room in our hearts and lives to embrace another culture or ethnicity if given the opportunity. Family is very important to us and we can't wait to expand ours!
